NEPTUNES RAW OYSTER & SEAFOOD BAR - ARTESIA, CA

I saw flying noodles and I wanted to try right away. But I ended up in disappointment. When we got there, they told us they run out of soft shell crab and uni. It was 6:30 on a Wednesday night, how can you not carry ur signature items? You might as well remove it from the menu and make it a special. So we ordered the shrimp noodles. The noodles were quite dry and the shrimps were even dryer. I was quite disappointed with how low the noodles were elevated. I thought they looked taller in their "promotional" pictures. And the oysters tasted nothing like "fresh" as they stated. The lobster roll was bad too, the lobsters tasted like overcooked frozen lobsters. My friend ordered a medium rare filet mignon, and I never knew a piece of steak can taste like a piece of stew meat (that is not tasty). It looked medium rare but the texture and taste was nothing close to a good steak. They get one star for effort and presentation, half star for interior and half star for service (they literally made us wait 10 min before they collect the check from us, we just wanted to leave at that point) Overall it was just a really bad experience and I'll never go back.
