IVORY ON SUNSET - WEST HOLLYWOOD, LA

We saw a deal on dineLA, three course lunch meal for $20 and an awesome view, I am in in! I booked through the dineLA website, but when I got there the hostress told me that they actually only do dineLA during the weekdays. That is not true because I booked through dineLA and there is no mentioning that it not was available on weekends (although she claimed they did). However, the hostress was super nice and told me she would ask the manager if I can do it. And she came back saying it's ok. Next time I hope they make sure they know what they are talking about before relying me this information. But they solved the problem in a super quick manner so I appreciated that.

It is actually in the outdoor area of the first floor of the Mondrian hotel, next to the pool (which is actually Skybar). They were not connected but I definitely felt the fun in the sun/party vibe from the people on the other side of the gate. There was a live DJ which adds to the mood to the outdoor area.

We were seated by the window, but to be honest, there's not much view there to look out. The food was decent. And the plates were really pretty! I actually thought there were more different style plates, but they were all of the same type.

Overall, I would go back if they have another dineLA deal and would recommend it to other people.
