CAULDRON - IRVINE, CA

This has been the hype of Irvine since forever. Today I finally got to see what it's about. The line was kind of long on a Saturday night, but I dare say it went by pretty quick. The nitrogen ice cream is definitely good!!! We got the honey lavender and h2o rose. It was very rich and flavorful. I tried lavender ice cream before and it tasted like I was eating a flower, but this one was very good rich and creamy. Same goes for the rose.

However, their egg waffle (puff cone) was disappointing. I tried their competitor Yellow Business which is a pop-up in smorgasborg and 626 nightmarket, that egg waffle was so good! I was expecting something like that, but this was bad. So bad I only ate a few pieces and threw it away. It was soft, not crispy, a bit soggy and not complimenting the ice cream at all.

Overall, I would come back but not getting the puff cone. I would come back just for their ice cream.
