REPUBLIQUE - LA BREA, LA

On many of the blogs, Republique is always on the list for to-go restaurants in LA. I finally made my visit there! And just like many of the photos, the interior is stunning. I loved how they have the natural sunlight through the roof! But it was like a fight to find good seating especially during peak lunch time haha. Oh and also many mosquitoes, they really have to do something about that. Especially if you are eating something sweet, the mosquitoes are never going to stop bothering you. Like my friend who got the French Toast. The food was good, but to be honest nothing to rave about. They have a classic breakfast/brunch menu and that's all. Actually, I think it is kind of expensive for a self-serviced spot, but that's what popularity is all about.

Overall, if I have a chance, I would want to come back to try their dinner or pastries.

Tips: They have valet parking but is quite expensive. It was not hard to find street parking. I found parking right in front of the restaurant for $2/hour, instead of the $9 for lunch time valet.

Address:

624 S La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036
