There was news about this super hyped (and pink) doughnut shop from Portland opening in Studio City. And since I was going to Universal Studio, you know I had to get some. The whole exterior of the shop is so cute (and pink) with their signature Voodoo doll doughnut as the mascot. Their take-away box is also very cute (and pink) I wish I could've reused it somehow you know? Because it was such a waste of the box haha. It was around 5pm when Universal is about to close, and I think it took an hour on the line just to get DOUGHNUTS! Was it worth it? Maybe not.

We got The Loop (with vanilla frosting and Fruit Loops.), Voodoo Doll (filled with raspberry jelly topped with chocolate frosting and a pretzel stake), and Diablos Rex (with chocolate frosting, red sprinkles, a vanilla frosting pentagram, and chocolate chips in the middle.). The Fruit Loops was a bit stale and the Diablos Rex was a bit dry. My favorite had to be the Voodoo Doll with the raspberry filling. Maybe because that was the only doughnut that was on par with my expectation.

Overall, it is just your average joe doughnuts with a cuter packaging. I will not spend another hour of my life waiting for this again. I rather go to Krispy Kreme and get their soft and warm signature doughnuts.
