Another icon of LA eats. This Eggslut is located in Grand Central Market in Downtown, and I think it's a nice place to grab lunch, minus the lines. I was waiting for my entrance into Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room at The Broad and I decided to come here to grab lunch since my ticket said the wait would be around 2 hours. Luckily I came here just pass prime lunch time. The line was so short!
It was around 2pm on a weekday and in total I only spent 10 minutes waiting for this burger! Usually I know people may spent up to 30 minutes or so! I am so lucky! I am a big burger fan so I have to get the classic Cheeseburger. I am not a big critic but I do not understand what this hype is about. It was an OK burger with an oozing egg yolk and your regular ingredients but nothing more. I even thought it tasted kind of blend so I added more salt myself.
Overall, if I saw a line that looked like it would take me more than 10 minutes, I am not even going to bother. There are many other delicious food in Grand Central Market which is more worth my time.
