AFTERS ICE CREAM - WEST COVINA, CA

The last time when I passed by Afters Ice Cream in Monterey Park there was a huge line, so I decided I would go there on a different day. This time, we visited the West Covina location just a little before 9pm, and there was only another party besides us. We were able to try different samples and it was great! So I thought maybe this location is not as popular, but literally 5 minutes later the whole store was swarm. Then 10 minutes later, the line was out the door!

We got the Jasmine Milk Tea (which is purple color) and the Peanut Butter S'mores. I was surprise they actually give you a pretty big scoop! We were really full with the two scoops that we got and we almost couldn't finish! (Can you believe me not being able to finish ice cream? That's a sin!) I really liked the Jasmine Milk Tea, the tea flavor was strong and it was smooth and milky. The Peanut Butter S'mores was actually a little overpowering the Jasmine Milk Tea, but it was nevertheless super tasty as well. I couldn't really taste the marshmallow in there, but the peanut butter and chocolate was very prominent.

Overall, I want to go back and try all of the flavors on their menu!

Tips: If you do not want to stand on the line, arrive before 9pm.
