The first time I tried Midori was recommended to me by a friend. It was cheap and delicious sushi, so I knew this time when I visit Japan, I must go there again regardless of their infamous long lines. This time, we opt for the Shibuya location, it is conveniently located on top of the train station in Shibuya Mark City shopping mall, you do not have to look very far.
We waited around 30 minutes on a weekday afternoon, it was not bad at all! I got the combo for 2000 yen which has 10 pieces of sushi, with egg (tamago) and minced tuna handroll. The ones I loved are shrimp, sea urchin (uni), eel (unagi), toro (fatty tuna), and the crab. WHAT A GREAT DEAL!!! Can you imagine getting this cheap price for this quality of food anywhere else?! I can't. It was heaven in my mouth and I was so full after this. Since this is located in Shibuya, it's a great time for shopping afterwards too!
Just looking at the picture makes me hungry again. WAIT FOR ME MIDORI, I will be back!
