LADY M - IRVINE, CA

There was no line at the Irvine location on a Sunday morning. There was, however, somebody who looked like a bouncer opening the door for me. I thought I was going into a bar or something, the whole situation was a bit funny. Anyways, I had Lady M in original New York store and in Hong Kong. I tried most of the flavors Original, Green tea, Earl Gray, Strawberry and Coconut, this time in Irvine, I opt for the Passion Fruit.

I was having doubts about it because I know passion fruit is a sour fruit, but since I never tried, why not? But I think I was right about the doubt haha. I am not saying it was bad, but I just think cream and sour-ness isn't a great match. There were fresh passion fruit seeds on top of the cake, and the whole slice of cake had a sour taste. Towards the end (outter edge of the cake) it got a a little better since there weren't as much cream and more crepe. But for next time, let's not be too adventurous.

On the other hand, green tea kept its quality steady. It is a bit bitter like green tea should be and not very sweet. The flavor was green tea was very apparent in every bite. It was a pity they didn't have my favorite flavor earl grey, or else I would've chose that instead! Only a few more flavors until I try the whole menu! Until next time Lady M!
