101 NOODLE EXPRESS - ARCADIA, CA

Although the name of this restaurant is 101 Noodle Express, I think their beef roll was the best dish. The service was so-so but it might had to do with the fact that we went there during the staff's lunch time so they were a bit short-staffed. One of the ladies did apologize for forgetting our tea.

Pig's Ear with tofu. I personally do not like this, I think it lacks in flavor. It's neither spicy nor salty... nor anything...

Beef Roll. This is the best dish and the reason why I decided to come here. The wrap is crispy, soft and flaky to the right amount and the beef inside was juicy. I don't really like cilantro but it mixed well with the beef in this dish. Usually other places only have one beef roll per order, but they serve two rolls here! There was so much food we had to take the remaining beef roll home. Still tastes good after I put it in the toaster.

Lamb Noodle Soup. If you are looking for something light, I think this is a good dish. The soup is quite clear but the lamb was surprisingly flavorful. I really liked the taste of the lamb, but I didn't like the noodles because it tasted a bit soggy.
