SUN NONG DAN - ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA

After wanting to visit sun nong dan FOREVER, I finally made my way on a weekday night. Luckily there was no wait at all! I hesitated to come here before because I always thought I needed a big party in order to try the food here. But me and my girl killed it! We ordered a galbijim (Braised Beef Short Ribs) that literally feeds 4 people and a sullongtang (Beef Soup). Galbijim was heaven and definitely one of the best ones I had. It even beat some of the ones I tried while in Korea! The sauce tasted excellent and the short rib was very well marinated. The sullongtang was light, but high in beef flavor, which is a good contrast to the heavy and spicy galbijim. Ok, maybe we did not finish everything but we did good and had the leftovers to go. We both were happy because we had a great dinner and even more food for lunch tomorrow. I will definitely be going back soon! But next time, maybe with at least 1 more person haha.
