Sometimes ratings on Yelp can’t be too trustworthy when it comes to Chinese food. Many people tend to rate a restaurant lower ratings than it deserves because of difficult communication with the staff. Luckily I can speak Chinese, so I’ll never miss out on some delicious Chinese food. New Noodle Garden is a hole in the wall kind of place (where staff speak mostly only Mandarin and interior is a bit old) where you can get delicious home styled Chinese/Taiwanese food.

I recommend appetizer/shared dishes such as drunken chicken, spicy wonton (dumplings), soup dumplings, pig’s blood and intestines as well as their oyster pancake. (It sounded like most of the things I ate because it was just that good)
Their lamb hot pot is the most popular and the soup was very flavorful. You can order noodles and vegetable on the side to add to the soup later.

Overall, I really enjoyed New Noodle Garden and would be going back again with a group of friends. Chinese food is best when shared so you can get to try a bunch of different dishes.
